She was born March 10, 1932 in Louisville to Joseph Elmer and Olive Gretchen Render Miller, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her husband Daniel L. Lyons, Sr.; Carolyn was the co-owner of Chenoweth Appliances, a Kentucky Colonel, and a longtime member of Fern Creek United Methodist Church.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Karen Buckman (Charlie); Sons, John Stephens (Maria), Daniel Lyons, Jr. (Tracy), and Joseph "Wayne" Lyons; three sisters, three brothers, her grandchildren, John Stephens, Jr., Michel Stephens, Heather Stone, Brittany Rene Lyons, Bradley Wayne Lyons, Kristen Palombi, and Derek Lyons; and by her loved recycled poodles, Cocoa Puff and Peaches.
No services are scheduled. Inurnment will be at Resthaven Memorial Park.
