Mary Alice Norman, 85, passed away Thursday November 28, 2013. Born in Majestic Kentucky, to the late David and Mayme Hayton Wallace Mary Was retired nurse’s assistant, and member of Fairview Christian Church, she enjoyed gardening and dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchild.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Burgess Norman, to whom she was married for 55 years, and a son Leslie R. Norman.
She is survived by her two sons, Howard and Greg Norman and her daughter, Donna Norman, 2 granddaughters; Lisa Norman and Kirstin Houchin and one great grandson, Ethan Green Norman
A celebration of Mary’s life will be 2pm Tuesday December 3 at Arch L .Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, with entombment to follow. Visitation will be Monday December 2, from 2 to 8 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial donations be made the American Kidney Foundation
