Sweet Mia ALWAYS had a smile & was a bright light among the residents @ CLL. We enjoyed seeing her when we visited our Marci. Now Mia & Marci can enjoy each other’s friendship once again❤️ May your Family be filled with HIS Comfort & Peace at this difficult time & may the beautiful Memories of Times with Mia fill your souls.

I loved Mia! She would greet me when I walked  in as Kim's mom. Kim loved her to. I am so sorry Lola and know you will be lost but we had another angel in Heaven. God bless you and I will be praying for you during this time.

I met Mia during my first or second week at Cedar Lake. We sat and talked about some of her joy in life, and some of her loss. What struck me was how her sweetness and sharp wit existed in perfect balance.  I think the world of Mia and her mother, Lola. Lola, did you know Mia and I joked about her getting a temporary tattoo and temporary purple color in her hair before you visited for a family day? She was a funny, sweet woman!

I know Mia had a few "buttercups" in her life, and I am so happy that I was one of them. I will never forget her infectious laugh, her goofy socks, or the compassion she had for others. She was one-of-a-kind and one of the sweetest (yet sassiest) ladies I have ever known. I am so grateful for our times together from the little things like singing karaoke and doing manicures to the big events like when she attended my wedding. I am going to miss this beautiful soul, but I will forever cherish our wonderful memories! 

Kristy will miss Mia terribly. They were like sisters; loved each other one minute, fighting the next. The house is very quiet.

Mia was my sunshine and the sunshine song was our song , Linda (buutercup) as Mia called her could be doing the same thing and Mia would tell Linda (buttercup) that she was wrong every time , Mia always had my back , Mia will always be my sunshine and one of my Angel's watching over me 

Such a strong spirit !  My niece Mia was the center of her Mother's life....through the trials and pains Mia kept her sense of humor.  Lola would relay stories about Mia and it always amazed me the strength they all had...Lola, Worth and Mia.   Rest in peace with the Angles now, Mia.   love . Bill and Winnell Newman

Will miss my girl, we had so many laughs and secrets together.  I will treasure the memories of everyday I had with Mia, helping her with her successes in life.   

I was fortunate to share in many of Mia's accomplishments since living here at Cedar Lake Lodge, watching her bloom and grow moving to Park Place and then to Sycamore.  She always greeted me with a smile and was always happy to report to work in Dining room at the lodge, and so proud of her job. 
Even on days she did not feel well she was determined to do her job and her staff made sure that happened.  She always remembered her good friends when seeing them.  She will be missed. Love to all her family and friends.
