Michael Todd Smith

Born in Wichita, KS, Mike was the son of Doris Eileen Smith and the late George Basil Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Laura French Smith and sons, Tucker French Smith and Tate Henry Smith.

Mike was an enthusiastic supporter and graduate of Texas A & M University. He received his MBA from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX. He was employed with Flowserve Corporation. Mike was a 32nd Degree Mason and was a member of St. Francis in the Fields Episcopal Church. He was a constant volunteer at the Jeff Street Baptist Community at Liberty day shelter for the homeless. Mike was an expert in the kitchen both at the table or when at the helm of the stove or grill. He had a deep love of barbecue, fine wine, travel, hunting, deep sea fishing, football, and anything that involved supporting his children. His generosity to his community and to his friends and family knew no bounds. Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. Friday, January 15, 2016 at St. Francis in the Fields Episcopal Church, 6710 Wolf Pen Branch Road, with funeral services immediately following at 11 a.m.
