

Michael passed away on October 3, 2024 at 3:04 p.m. very unexpectedly with his family and friends surrounding him.
Left to cherish Michael’s memory is his loving wife, Bekki Swanson and his children and step children, Sederia Wilson, Kaleb Riker, Adrianne Swanson, Michael Swanson, Jr., and Deshon and Brucie; grandchildren, Logan, Chase, Se'Mya and Mateo; siblings, Lorenzo Swanson, Kellena Whitehead Nash, Laura Riddick and Kelly Whitehead; nieces, nephews, cousins; his close family, Lorenzo Palmer, Wendell Thomas, Latrice Nash, Asia Nash, Kayla Nash, Kimora Riddick, Justin Whitehead, Skye Moore, Monique Styles, Andrew Moore, Hassan Ali; and his dear best friend, Tim Menser.
Michael dedicated his life publicly with his wife to Jehovah on September 20, 2008. Michael was a man of his faith and he loved Jehovah’s organization. He had so much spiritual family all over the earth. Michael will be missed, but we always said to each other if this day came, “it’s not good bye, it’s I’ll see you in Paradise”.
You will be missed Michael. You weren’t just a husband, father and friend you were my best friend. The kids and I will miss you terribly. We will see you later in Paradise, because it’s “Just Around The Corner”.
A visitation for Michael will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40213, with resuming visitation, Friday from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family of Michael will be having a memorial service to honor his life on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 3 p.m. at Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witness, 8708 Old Bates Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40228.
