Mickey was a graduate of St. Francis Assisi in Loretto, Kentucky, and St. Catharine College. She was also a member of St. Rita Catholic Church and a former teacher in Loretto and Louisville.
Her husband, Donald Edward Spalding, and two sisters, Judy Beaven and Margaret Beaven-Bash(Tarry) preceded Mickey in death.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Sean and Scott Spalding; six grandchildren, Thomas, Alex, Martin, Ally, Mary, and Aiden; nine siblings, Betty LeBlanc(Charlie), Steve Beaven(Lois), David Beaven(Judy), Tommy Beaven, Rita Simms(Joe), Nancy Beaven, Jimmy Beaven(Mary Ann), Gerry Beaven, and Janice McClure(Lee); and other family members and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, April 18, 2022, from 12-8 pm at Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home in Okolona. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 10 am at St. Rita Catholic Church, 8709 Preston Hwy. Louisville, KY 40219 with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
