She was a retired school bus driver for JCPS and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Wilkerson, Sr.
She is survived by her son, Christopher Wilkerson (Ruth); a sister, Wanda Kersey; grandchildren, Brian Wilkerson, Chad Wilkerson, and Martina Sanders; and great-grandchildren Tyler and Noah.
Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 Tuesday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Monday.
