Misty Lynn Schneider, born on January 7, 1974, in Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on January 19, 2026, at the age of 52. Misty was a beloved, cherished, devoted, and selfless individual who touched the lives of many.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Jackie Skaggs; grandma, Marie Spencer; and grandson, Malakai Mateo.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Kevin Schneider; daughters, Haylee Mateo (Bryan) and Savannah Schneider; father, Will Spencer; step-father, Mike Skaggs (Hallie); brothers, Donnie Skaggs and Brenten Spencer; and step-sister, Adona Schank (Steve). Misty was also deeply loved by her beloved fur babies, Blaze, Gabi, Jeter, and Casper.
Misty was a devoted Harry Potter fan and enjoyed spending time with her loving husband, daughters, and fur babies.
Visitation will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, Kentucky, 40213, on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. A service to honor the life of Misty will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Misty will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
