
She was born in Athens, Georgia, and was a graduate and a fan of the University of Georgia. She moved to Louisville with her former husband, Dr. W.C. Davis in 1961.
She was known her creative talents as a writer and artist, and her keen sense of humor. She was a member of Garr’s Lane United Methodist Church, and the host of Circle of Friends, and a book club.
Throughout her illness, she was surrounded with the love of her family, and the love of the most loyal and devoted friends imaginable.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Will S. and Evelyn Eberhart.
She is survived by one son, Christopher Davis (Laura), a daughter, Paige Davis McGuire (Michael), a sister, Susan Sims (David), and three nephews, David (Carolina), Wes (Jennifer), and Travis Sims, and. She had four beloved grandchildren, Cole, Taylor, Corbin and Zachary. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.
Her funeral service will be held at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home on Tuesday at 5:00 pm. Visitation will be from 3:00 until the time of the service on Tuesday. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 12:00 at the Evergreen Memorial Park in Athens, Georgia, where she will be interred alongside her parents.
