

She was born on April 23, 1941 in Harlan, Kentucky, the oldest daughter of a coal miner. Nancy spent 20 years being a loving foster parent to many children. She was a loyal and long-time member of The Gospel Home Mission House of Prayer in Louisville KY. Nancy dedicated her life to ministry, she sang in many churches and shared the gospel of Jesus Christ to as many people as she could.
Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, David; Her parents, Calvin and Lula Pace; brothers, John, Grant, Samuel, James, and Paul Pace; and her sister, Rayda Pace.
Left to cherish Nancy's memory are her children, David W. Powers, Bryianna Pieratt (Brad), Mazie Newman (Mike); five grandchildren; Jeremy (Amanda), Samantha (Matt), Jimmy Lee (Miku), Jacob, and Molly; she had 8 great grandchildren; and her beloved sister and best friend who she loved dearly, Mazie Caudill (Ralph); several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation for Nancy will be Thursday, June, 12, 2025 at Arch L Heady & Son Funeral Home - Okolona Chapel from 2pm until 7pm. Visitation will also be Friday, June 13, 2025 from 11am until the hour of the Funeral Service at 12pm at the funeral home. Burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens will immediately follow.
