Neil Ashton Gardner, 71, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015. He was born May 31, 1943 in Louisville to the late Everett and Virginia Burnett Gardner. He retired from General Electric after 36 years of work.
Neil is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mildred “Millie” Gardner, four children; Neil Jr., Jeff (Hsiao-Ling), Robin (Billy) and Bill (Tina), ten grandchildren; Hailey, Dustin, Jesse, Ally, Cameron, Amber, Nicole, Will, Delaney and Savannah, a great- grandchild, Rayleigh, four siblings; Burnetta (Melvin), Donald (Pat), Bobby (Joyce) and Nickie, also several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Neil’s Life will be conducted Tuesday, March 24th 2015 at noon in Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
