FERGUSON, NELLIE R., 78, of South Louisville, passed from this life on Wednesday February 9, 2011 at Summerfield Manor. She was the former Nellie Piercy, a native of Wayne County KY, and a member of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, James E. Ferguson, Sr.; step-daughters, Debbie Mudd and Joyce Gootee; step-sons, James E. Ferguson, Jr., and Neil Ferguson; a sister, Eileen Hall; and a brother, Cletis Piercy. A service to celebrate Mrs. Ferguson's life will be held at noon Monday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Interment will follow in Floydsburg Cemetery in Crestwood.
