She was the former Gondee Rich, a native of Muhlenberg Co., KY. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Okolona Christian Church and former member of the Okolona Women's Club and the Moose Lodge #5.
Gondee was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Charles E. Braden.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son and daughter-in-law, Charles David and Lynn Braden; her granddaughter, Jenilyn B. Braden; her brother William J. Miller (Helen); nephews, Billy Miller (Terrie), Gary Miller and Ricky Miller (Tracey); nieces, Shirley Riedinger, Nancy Tyra (Bob), Jan Haskins (Ken) and Cheryl Linde (Bill); two great-nieces; eight great-nephews; and one great-great-niece. She was a loving Mom, Grandma and Auntie.
A celebration of her life will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Arch L. Heady - Okolona, 8519 Preston Hwy., with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation is at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m.
