Nora Ann (Bronger) Burton, 96, peacefully passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026. Born on September 27, 1929 in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the fourth child of Clifford and Mary Ellen (Fallon) Bronger. Ann was a devoted sister to her siblings and devoted wife to her husband (Joe) as well.
A woman of deep faith, Ann was a devout Catholic and member of St. Francis of Rome Catholic Church, Louisville, Ky.
Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Burton, as well as her siblings: sisters Mary Rita "Reets", Rose Carmel "Butch," Mary Bonita and brothers Nick, Pat, Marty, and Jerry Bronger. Her memory will be lovingly carried on by her many beloved nephews and nieces who keep her spirit in their hearts. Her legacy also lives on through her treasured relationships with her many friends and neighbors at Sacred Heart Residence and especially Martha whom she loved dearly.
A memorial service will be held at St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church, 2119 Payne St, Louisville, KY 40206. The date and time will be announced in the upcoming days.
