It is with great sadness that the family of Norma Jean Miller announces her passing after a brief illness on January 1, 2018 at the age of 96 years. Norma was a native of New Albany, IN and a 1941 graduate of New Albany High School. She was also a member of Christ Church United Methodist. Preceding her in death was her husband Percy G. Miller; father and mother, Everett and Geneva Crowe; and sister, Martha Luther.
She leaves to cherish her memory, sons Donald Miller (Mary), Alan Miller MD (Nita) and daughter, Janet Reed (Bill); grandchildren, Scott and Kristen Reed, Erin Sammons and Greg Miller, and Kevin, Christy and Steven Miller. She also leaves seven great grandchildren and a host of dear family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 12 PM to 8 PM on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd., Louisville, KY. Funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Monday, January 8, 2017 at the funeral home with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the charity of your choice.
