From the Brown administration, Pam’s career took another turn as she became a sales manager at the Commonwealth Convention Center, providing her expertise as an organizer. As a show manager for the Louisville New Car Show, she lovingly grew and improved the car show each year until her retirement from GLADA. Her work on the marketing campaign for the car show landed her a “Louie” – a prestigious award given by the American Advertising Federation. She was known to her co-workers and friends as being incredibly smart, sharp witted, and not afraid to speak her mind. She valued honesty and hard work. To her family, she will always be remembered as brave, funny, strong, protective and “cuckoo” to her grandchildren. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 7 pm Thursday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with cremation to follow. Visitation will be from 2 pm until the time of service on Thursday.
