

Patricia was born in Louisville, Kentucky. She is a graduate of Presentation Academy and earned an Associate Degree in Interior Design from the University of Louisville. She worked as a professional designer in the design studio at Stewarts, Lazarus, and later as a solo designer.
In addition to enjoying traveling with her husband Glen to England, Germany, Italy, and France, as well as multiple U.S. states, Patricia was involved in many local charities. She held leadership positions for the Bellarmine Women’s Council, the Kentucky Derby Festival, the Queen’s Daughters and served as a patron of the Louisville Orchestra. With her vivacious personality, Patricia enjoyed planning and hosting events through her volunteer activities. She took pride in her home and loved creating an elegant environment. She often used her design skills by painting and drawing and appreciated a wide range of musical styles. Patricia was happiest when surrounded by her family and loved holding family get-togethers. She always treasured the time she had with her grandchildren and was looking forward to meeting her first great-grandchild in February.
Patricia is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Glen. She leaves behind a daughter, Denise Damron, and a son, Mark Damron, and his wife, Jennifer Calhoun Damron, along with Mark and Jennifer’s four children, Brianna Damron Forbes and husband Grant Forbes, Jonathan Damron, Silas Damron, and Penelope Damron.
