Pat, you were such a wonderful person inside and out. We had wonderful times when we were younger. I am going to miss you so much. I love you.

Dear Uldis,  Thought of you all day today.  I still find it hard to believe Pat is gone.  She was part of my younger days in Rochester and we had good times as friends and roommates.  I especially remember our cross country trip to California.  We stayed in tents part of the time and had a wonderful time.  I had so hoped that she would beat this lousy disease but it wasn't to be.  I'm glad we had that reunion with Lauri a few years ago.  And I'm glad I got to visit you all in Kentucky.  So - my deep sympathies to you and the children - I will always remember Pat, and even though we didn't see each other often in the years since Rochester, I will remember our times together fondly. I am so sorry to hear of this tremendous loss.  I feel so privileged to have known Pat.  She was so gracious and kind.  I will miss seeing her and waving as I walk the dogs.
