He was born on November 5, 1945 in Troy, Ohio to the late Paul Pfeifer, Sr. and Bette Barringer Pfeifer. Patrick devoted his career as an agriculture teacher at New Albany High School in Indiana for 40 years. Patrick graduated from Berea College and the University of Kentucky, where he studied Agriculture Science. Patrick is survived by his wife, Susan (Kiteck), daughter Kristin Yu (Laurel), grandson Sangjin Yu, siblings Paul Sr., Polly Wilson, Thomas, Gregory, and Jon.
A memorial visitation will be held on October 11, 2025, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at 7410 Westport Road, Louisville, Kentucky, 40222. The funeral service will follow at the same location at 1:00 pm.
A graveside service will take place on October 11, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Cave Hill Cemetery & Arboretum, 701 Baxter Ave, Louisville, Kentucky, 40204.
