Paul Michael Fekete, 68, of Louisville, passed away after a brief illness on the evening of December 25, 2012 at Baptist Hospital East with his loving family by his side. He was a native of Oakland, California and a investigator for U.P.S. He loved his work and all of the places it took him to, along with fishing and enjoying Nascar. He was the ultimate family man who loved his children and grandchildren and spending time with family and friends. He is decsribed as a jolly, happy and outgoing man who never met a stranger.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Louis Michael and Katherine Bernardo Fekete.
Left cherishing his memory is his loving wife of 11 years, Joan Smith Fekete; daughter, Tonya (Valentin) Martinez; son, Jonathan M. Fekete; grandchildren, Marisa and J.J. Martinez; sister-in-law, Terri Davis.
The Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at noon at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
