Paula L. Martin passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was surrounded by love and leaves behind her devoted partner of 50 years, Nancy Marcum, with whom she shared a lifetime of cherished memories.
Paula was known for her passion for education and her dedication as an amazing educator who inspired countless students throughout her career. Her love for photography captured the beauty of life’s moments, and her adventurous spirit led her to explore the great outdoors whenever she could. A proud Ohio State fan, Paula, never missed an opportunity to cheer on her team.
She was a voracious reader, a lifelong learner, and someone who embraced knowledge with enthusiasm. Paula’s warmth, kindness, and zest for life touched everyone who knew her. Her legacy is one of love, curiosity, and joy.
She will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all whose lives she enriched.
Visitation will be held on Saturday December 13th from 11:00am-1:00pm, with a memorial service at 1:00pm at Arch L Heady – 7410 Westport Rd, Louisville KY 40222.
