Born on June 3, 1948, in Columbia, Kentucky, to the late William and Cecil Knight.
Phyllis was a simple woman; she enjoyed crocheting and quilting, spending time with family and being a remarkable caregiver to her husband Eddie.
Her memory will be cherished by her loving husband, Eddie Fisher, her son, Ed Fisher, and his wife Denise, as well as her grandchildren, Hannah and Lexie Fisher.
Phyllis is also fondly remembered by her siblings, William Knight with his wife Lana, and Eileen Bottoms, her sister-in-law's, Wanda "Joey" Knight and Jeanette Knight, along with many nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.
Her departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her presence will forever be felt in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A visitation for Phyllis will be held Monday, July 14, 2025 beginning at 11:00 AM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218. A funeral service will occur at 2:00pm, immediately followed by a graveside service at 3:00pm at Resthaven Memorial Park.
