He was a native of Jane Lew, West VA, a retired truck driver with local 89, Trans Personel, U.S. Army veteran of Korea War and a member of Faith Assembly of God. Survived by his wife of 55 years, the former Rita M. Smith; daughters, Sheila D. Wilson (Greg), Lisa M. Grimes( David); son, Nathan W. Wright (Beverly); eight granddaughters; one grandson; six great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services is 11 a.m. Saturday, Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 3 - 8 p.m. on Friday.
