Randall L. Wilson, 72, longtime resident of South Louisville peacefully passed away Monday December 7, 2009 at Jewish Hospital with his family by his side. He was a native of Fancy Farm, KY., a retired painter with the old Payne & Hager Co., a member of the International Union of Painters and Allied Tradesman Local 118, and a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bess Wiseheart Wilson; his parents, Vodra L. Wilson and Mary E. Willett Wilson; sisters, Mary Stroup, Linda Meade, and Joann Wilson; and brothers, Conrad, Albert and Charles Wilson. He is survived by a daughter, Susan Grace (Tom); sons, Reverend Frank Aubin, Alan Aubin (Denise), and Steve Aubin; sisters, Ann Snyder and Diane Barth; a brother, Vodra L. Wilson, Jr.; a special companion, Annette Burkel; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A mass to celebrate Mr. Wilson’s life will be held at 10 am Saturday at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 3509 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Southern Home of, Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3601 Taylor Blvd. from 2-8 pm Friday. Memorial gifts may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
