I knew Ray at Stivers Elementary before his folks moved to the westport-Ballard HS district.  A great HS BB player on the 1st varsity BB team at Ballard.  A good guy !       Bill Leavell

So very sorry to hear of Ray's passing. Ray was always a kind, generous and inherently happy young man when I knew him. He was talented and could inspire others to perform at their peak. With all his success, he was also a humble soul, one that would willingly give a total stranger a hand up. You will be missed, Ray, May you walk with the Lord always.

I had the privilege of playing basketball with Ray at Ballard. Coach Schmitt  would alway holler "Be sharp Razor. Be sharp son." And he was. Rest in peace my friend. My sympathy to the family for your loss and my apology for not being able to attend the service.

Sorry for your loss.  Ray was my middle school basketball coach at Monticello, Ky.
I always liked him and often wondered where he ended up.  I give him a lot of credit for making my group very successful in high school because of how he pushed us.  He was a great coach to me and I'm really sorry to here of his passing.

Ray, you will be missed. A big man in so many ways...the size of your heart, the respect you garnered and the love you shared. Jennefer, Raegan, Yvonne and Mark, my thoughts are with you.

I am so sorry for you loss.   Ray, and my late husband, Britt Arnett, were friends in high school.  Ray was one of the first friends I met.  He was such a sweet, big teddy bear

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Ray. 

Ray was one of my first friends when I moved to Dartmoor Drive in the early 60's. Even back then Ray was a gentle giant that had a heart of gold.  Ray was a good man, little league baseball teammate, classmate, neighbor, father, son, husband, brother and friend.  He was one of the few people that I could always count on to have my back and be there if I ever needed him.  I was a lucky man to have know him and to be able to call him my friend all these years. There will never be another person like him. 

So long old friend, love you and catch you on the other side.
