Raymond Leon Jenkins Sr., 78, of Louisville, passed away March 16, 2017. He was a retired surveyor for Miller-Wihry Inc., a former employee of WalMart, and former owner of Boulevard Market in the Highland Park neighborhood. He had served in the National Guard and was a member of Hiawatha Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Welch Jenkins. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Carol Batovsky(Michael), Trish Phelps(Mike), Raymond Jenkins Jr., and Ron Jenkins; 4 grandchildren, Tammy, Salena, Ronnie, and Anthony; 12 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Danny Jenkins and Jimmy Jenkins. Funeral service will be 12 noon Monday, March 20, 2017 at Evergreen Funeral Home with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8pm Sunday. Memorial donations can me made to Hosparus.
