

Raymond R. Senn, 89, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on February 24, 2026. A beloved, brave, cherished, devoted, faithful, hard-working, loyal man, Raymond will be remembered with deep respect and lasting gratitude by all who knew him.
Raymond was born on May 29, 1936. He married Alma Eckles Senn, and together they had four children.
Raymond served his country with honor, spending three years in the Marine Corps as clean up after the Korean War from 1954–1957. He later retired from the Army as a Command Sergeant Major for the 100th Division Reception Station. He also dedicated more than 20 years to the Louisville city police, serving as part of the motorcycle police team and participating in the police drill team. In addition, he worked as a civil service employee on Fort Knox as a heavy machinery operator. A man of steadfast commitment to his community and faith, Raymond was a FOP life member, a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, and part of Knob Creek gun club.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Robert Senn Sr. and Ruth Vance Senn; his brother, Phillip Senn; and his sisters, Retha Murta and Patricia Goff; as well as many beloved family members and friends.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Mary Evelyn “Evie” Senn, Dwayne Robert Senn (Tonja), Kevin Allen Senn, and Valina Rae Higgins; his grandchildren, Bailey Senn, Abigail Senn, Natalie Cates (Daniel), Caryn Lacey (Walter), and Katelyn Gibson (Brandon); and his nine great-grandchildren, Cailyn Senn, Isabell Senn, Raymond Senn, Olivia Senn, Cameron Lacey, Nathanael Cates, Andrew Cates, Clementine Cates, and Sophia Gibson.
Visitation will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY 40213, on February 28, 2026, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. The Funeral Service will follow at Evergreen Funeral Home on February 28, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. A Committal Service will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home on March 2, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
