Mr. Eaton was a retired U.S. Postal Service employee.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Catherine Eaton. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Robert L. Eaton (Monica) and grandson, Robert W. Eaton (Kelly). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held noon Tuesday at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation at the funeral home will be Monday from 3-8 p.m.
The family would like to request that memorial donations in Robert's name be directed to the American Heart Association.
