He was the retired owner of Bob's TV and was an Air Force veteran of World War II.
Mr. Goodlett was preceded in rest by his lifelong friend, Mary Kilner.
He worked side by side with Jay Kilner (Mary Anne), Ted Kilner (Irene) and Ronnie Kilner (Judy) at his t.v. shop for over 35 years and after he retired the three boys remained close with Bob. They continued their friendship and cared for him throughout his illness. They have known Bob all their lives and considered him like a father, as he was an integral part of the family.
Mr. Goodlett is also survived by two brothers, Jack and Bud Goodlett; and three sisters, Juanita Goodlett, Rosie Holmes and Josephine Hawkins.
His funeral service will be noon Tuesday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Okolona. Interment will follow in Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 2-8 p.m.
