Teri, my sincerest sympathy to you and your family.  Your father was one of a kind and a good man.  I doubt if I could pick 10 other years in my life where Iâ€™ve had as much fun, and laughed so hard, as I did with your dad the 10 years we sailed together at Lewis & Clark Lake. Those fond memories will be cherished forever.  Bob touched many lives in a positive way, as a leader and a teacher, always eager to share.  Bob is now enjoying the gift of everlasting life which should be your greatest comfort during this sad time.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Our thoughts and prayers and sympathy are with you.  He was blessed to have you care for him as he declined.  We are so glad we were able to assist him in making the transition to Kentucky so that in the end you could both cherish the father/daughter relationship and the time together.

My thoughts of your dad is kinda funny. I remember one time he was cooking something in the mircowave and left it in there for more then 30 minutes (it was suppose to be in there for 3 minutes) Anyway, We was smelling something burning around our place and we went outside and he was opening all the doors & windows and smoke was pouring out everywhere and he said "Oops, I might have cooked that too long",He was so funny. Our prayers are with you at time.

My sympathies to you.  I knew Bob in the 1980s, sailing at Lewis & Clark Lake. We were new to sailing and Bob took us under his wing.  I also remember some great fun times in the evening, sitting on the dock with beverages, food, and good conversation.

Terry, Bob was a close personal friend for many years.  We shared a love of sailing and had quite a few adventures together.  One of my favorite stories is about taking a Sweet 16 out to Wall Lake on a very windy day.  We were both nervous about the strength of the blow but like a couple of guys didn't say anything... just kept rigging the boat up until the point that a stay blew out of its pocket.  Still, nothing was said.  We just lowered the mast, tied the boat securely to the trailer and drove home.

Teri, I'm sorry to hear of Bob's passing and sorry I didn't ever meet you. I was present many times when your dad talked to  you by phone.    Bob was a great friend to me. We had   good times together. He was  very special to me.   He will be missed and everytime I drive by 57th and Cliff,  I am reminded of his friendship.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Bob was a long-time friend that provided much help & encouragement to me over the years---clearly, with no expectation of anything in return.
He is missed by his family and many friends.; but I believe that he is now much better off in the presence of our Lord.
