Robert Lee “Bob” Jarrett Sr., 79, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016. He was born on February 6, 1937 in Louisville KY to the late William and Mary Hickey Jarrett. Bob retired from Reynolds Aluminum and loved spending time at Churchill Downs.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 60 years, Francis Sue Jarrett (nee Kelley), his children, Sherry Lewis (Doug), Robin Riggs, Bobby Jarrett (Rita), Donna Smith (Frank), Jennifer Jarrett (Raymond Johnson), and Dianna “Dudder” French, 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, two brothers, Billy and Gary, his four sisters, Diane, Brenda, Nancy and Phyllis, as well as his loving dog, Bandit.
A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held 12 pm, Friday, July 15, 2016 in Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Friends may attend a visitation Thursday from 1-8 pm at the funeral home and again Friday from 9 am until the time of service.
