Can’t believe it’s been two years! I miss you much, Bob!!!

Our deepest sympathy to Bob’s family.   Growing up I didn’t get to  spend much time with my California Cousins but I always remember Bob’s unique sense of humor and fun loving spirit.  I’m so glad that over the past few years we’ve been able to connect more often. I will cherish those memories.  Bob will  be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

This is the last picture I have with all of us and our families. Bob was my partner in mischief when we attended Cal Poly. Many of weekends were spent driving to Hollywood to see our favorite bands, or at least try to see them play before the boys in blue showed up. Our last conversation was about those nights and how crazy and fun they were. So if you see the brother Ramones Bob give them a Hey Ho, Let’s Go and get that pit going!

Bob was a great guy. You hadn’t experienced fun till you were in the presence of Bob Murphy. He made a tedious task seem like a piece of cake. From working with him to the occasional Hawaiian Christmas luau you never knew what to expect. 
He was always their for a friend. At  a Dickies concert we had all gotten a little zany. I was tossing girls into a slam pit and laughing. Bob was getting the brunt of my Chaos by getting hit in the head with beer bottles from ticked off boyfriends. But we all took it in stride and gave a toast to Teresa Murphy with a shot of Drambuie.
When it came to business he was top notch. I remember when he took me under his wing in management and showed me the tricks of the trade when hiring great workers. Mr. Jimmy was by far one of his star performers. I have never seen someone make so many tacos so fast in my life.
Theatrical  expertise and comedy it was Bob. He deserved a star on Hollywood blvd. His Portrayal of “Bobby the Oy vey man Murphy” . His performance should have won him an Oscar. If it wasn’t for that stupid Tom Hanks and “Saving Private Ryan” he would have had it. 
I will miss you Bob but I know they are throwing one heck of a party for you in Heaven. Keep it real, and we will all see you again someday.

Here is a memory of mine of the true Bob Murphy. If bob found your button he would push it for his own enjoyment. When we were growing up he would just sit in front of or to the side of me and stare at me. He would then just say “The Face”! This would send me either yelling for mom or attacking him. He loved getting a reaction out of me. I’m sure there are those of you that have gave him the enjoyment of a good reaction. 

Our deepest condolences of your loss of Bob. He was one a kind, quick witted, funny, kind hearted and he loved and cared for his family big!!

We’ll all miss cousin Bob. He was quick witted, irreverent, outspoken, hilarious and fun to be around. 

Bob and his family was just one of the big surprises we had in store for Pop's 90th birthday! While at the airport, I had Pop sit on a bench. Pop didn't know we were there to pick up Bob and the boys. Bob had Sean sneak around the corner and ask Pop for change for a dollar. At first, Pop didn't recognize Sean, until he saw Bob recording him. It was super funny!! Bob and his sense of humor!!

I was fortunate enough to celebrate "Britmas" for the first time with Bob, Britnie, Juni, Jason, Sean and Paddy in December of 2021.

What can I say about Bob (Bilbo)? Well, I can say that the sibling shenanigans of the older brothers picking on the younger brothers is true. But in our case it was only Bob picking on me. Bob was a good older brother and a loving dad. There are tons of stories about bob but not enough space on hear to tell them. I love you Bilbo and I miss you! You join mom and pop to soon.

There is so much that can be said about Brother Bob. He was quick witted and had a wicked sense of humor. He was creative, talented and sharp. Like our Mom, he would give you his opinion whether you wanted it or not. He was a dedicated worker and loved his job. But he loved nothing more than his family, especially his children. He would do anything for them. I'm going to miss our road trips, vacations, FaceTime chats and reminiscing about the good ol' days. I will miss you, Bob.

Bob will forever be remembered by our New Build team for always demanding the best from all of us. We worked hard and celebrated hard.
We were the best of the best because of Bob.
He was loved and respected by all who knew him.
