

Robert “Jeff” Pence, 66, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home on November 6, 2025.
Born in Leitchfield, Kentucky, Jeff was a proud graduate of Butler High School, Class of 1977. He spent most of his career in management, holding positions with companies including Kroger company, Bachman, and Harley-Davidson, to name a few.
Jeff’s love language was cooking for his family especially his famous chili that everyone looked forward to. He enjoyed spending his free time going on motorcycle rides with his wife and friends and could often be found cheering on the Louisville Cardinals, watching NASCAR, enjoyed his many fast cars. He loved being part of the Louisville Motor Speedway crew alongside great friends including Jerry Lee and Scott Toohey, among many others.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents John and Mortimer Stone, Richard and Lula Pence, and Father Robert F. Pence.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Sheila Pence; his children, Allison Thomas(Charlie) , Sean Pence (Kindra), Erica Unseld (Mike), and Rachel Littrell (Corey); his cherished grandchildren, Noah, Caleb, Eli, Isabella, Maddex, MyLee, Macen, Caleb, Cayden, Reece, Kylee, Cason, Waylen, and Skyler; and his great-granddaughter, Evelyn. He is also survived by his mother, Peggy Pence, and sisters, Julie and Joanie.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jeff’s life on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, with visitation from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Arch L. Heady Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218.
Jeff's service will be 6:00 p.m. following visitation at Arch L. Heady Resthaven Chapel.
Jeff will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and the way he showed love through food, friendship, and family. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
