He was retired from the US Army and the US Postal Service.
Roger was preceded in death by a daughter, Lorri Jackson.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Phyllis Barnes Jackson; a daughter, LeAnn Bigos; sons, Richard Jackson and Ronald Jackson; 2 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
Cremation was chosen; no services are scheduled at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
