He was a dispatcher for Old Dominion Trucking Company. Once he retired he dedicated his life to his family. Mr. Romans graduated from TJ High School, and was an avid drag racing fan and CB’er.
Mr. Romans is survived by his wife, Hazel Romans; two sons, Matthew Romans and Ronald Romans, Jr.; a daughter, Ashley Romans; a granddaughter, Faron Byrd; his parents, Dallas and Aletrice Romans; and two brothers, Kevin and Kerry Romans.
His memorial service will be on Monday at 3pm at the Arch L. Heady Funeral Home and Cremation Services. He was cremated. The family will be receiving visitors from 1pm until the time of service.
