He was born on September 6, 1958 on Ramey Air Force Base in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico to Earl and Dorcas Allen. Ron was an Manufacturing Technician for St. Jude’s Medical; a place he was passionate about and loved to work. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved being outdoors. He was known for his huge heart for children and his big sense of humor, but above all, Ron loved being a father to his two children.
He is preceded in death by his father; along with several other family members.
Here to carry on his legacy and memory are his children, daughter, Blayne Stephens (Robbie) and son, Blake Allen (Jaycee); mother, Dorcas Allen; brothers, Greg Allen (Sherry) and Neil Allen (Kim); nephews, Kyle, Adam, Kristopher, and Daniel Allen; uncle, Gayland Allen (Jill); and his girlfriend, Amy Tran.
Services were entrusted to Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY. Due to Ron’s love of children and his ultimate goal of being a Bass Pro Tournament Fisherman to raise money for Children’s Cancer Research, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital Research Hospital.
