Ronald "Ronnie" A. Sheets

Ronald "Ronnie" Alvin Sheets, 83 of Louisville, KY. passed away on Friday 13, 2023. He was a loving and devoted husband and father and is survived by his spouse of 51 years, Sue Neel Sheets, children, Rhonda Bagshaw (Mike) and Andie Frisbee (Aaron). He is also survived by his faithful dog Booboo.

Ronnie will be also be missed by his extended family including his nephews Charles "Rusty" Jones, Randy Summers (Patti), James Boatman and Niece, Terry Brogden (Gary) as well as his longtime friends Joey and Jerry Saylor, Barbara Haga and many more whom he dearly loved. He is preceded by his father, Alvin Sheets, his Mother Nellie and his two sisters Sue Jones and Lois Boatman.

He graduated from Fulton High School (Knoxville, Tn.) in 1958. Ronnie was in the Army Reserves then later retired from Ford Motor Company. He was also a dedicated Mason of the PeeWee Valley Masonic Lodge #829 for 40 years where he served as a Lodge Master.

Ronnie enjoyed the good things in life including camping, boating, fishing and bowling. He also loved his cars and found much joy in spending time with family and friends.

Guests are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, from 5-8pm at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel with burial following at Cave Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made in the memory of Ronnie to the Masonic Lodge of Pee Wee Valley #829, PO Box 1027, Crestwood KY 40014 or to The Kentucky Humane Society.
