Ross "Butch" Bynum

Ross “Butch” Dolan Bynum, 75, passed away Monday, November 15, 2021. Butch was known for his fantastic sense of humor, generosity, compassion, and love of people. He also loved of history and was a motocross enthusiast.

Butch was preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Deloris “Dee” Bynum; his parents, Hoyte and Edna Bynum; brother, Hoyte Bynum Jr; sisters, Shirley Hester and Deana Robinson.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Kim Bynum (Kristin Magee); granddaughter, Collins Magee; siblings, Janet Board (Billy), James Bynum; sister-in-law, Susanne Metzmeier (John); and several other family and friends.

The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. Louisville, KY 40219, Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 10:00 am. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private at Evergreen Cemetery.
