She was retired from General Electric and was a member of the New Covenant Baptist Church. She was also an avid collector and dealer of antiques.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Leon Miller.
She is survived by her sisters, Anna L. Hazard and Patricia A. Newby; a son, Raymond Leon Miller; a nephew, Darryl Lucas and a host of other nieces and nephews.
Her Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at her church, 1190 S. 40th St., with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road, and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at her church.
