Aunt Ruth (and Uncle Jimmy) always took good care of me when I'd come over after St. X band practice at night and wait for a ride from dad.  And the parties.  Never been any like those since!  Aunt Ruth was an example to us all, from the altar in the basement to great cards and cooking.  May God bless her.

You will be dearly missed and Heaven sure did get a great person....Mrs. Kelty always made my family feel like a part of hers and she will be dearly missed, I loved being able to see her on her Birthday, she looked beautiful...Our Deepest Sympathy goes out to the Family she left behind....Love Patrick, Misty, Shane, Dylan & Lindsey Vaughn

I remember my Great Aunt Betty mostly from the Little Sisters of the poor where her niece my mother Dorothy Ann Kelty Gies resided,always a kind smile,my condolences to the family, Jacqueline Gies Minor

I was deeply saddened to hear the news of Aunt Ruth's passing and still am. My brother Danny called and left a message on our phone on Sunday night, but because of my work schedule, I didn't receive the message until early Monday morning. Aunt Ruth was always very kind, sweet, caring and also very humble. Whenever we went to visit Aunt Ruth & Uncle Jimmy, I always remember a lot of people being there and Aunt Ruth always making sure that there was plenty of food for everyone. She seldom got the chance to sit down at those family functions because she was so busy taking care of everything and everyone who was there.  She was always very soft-spoken. No matter what was happening, I never remembered a time when I heard her ever raise her voice!  But she didn't have to make her presence known through spoken-word; you just knew that she was there by the way she took care of her children, her grandchildren and all the others who were fortunate enough to be around her. She will be missed but she will not be forgotten. May God bless all of her family and friends at this time. Please know that The entire Kelty family will be, as always, in my prayers.
