She was a retired teacher and principal for the Archdiocese of Louisville and Indianapolis. Mrs. McNeil was a member of the old Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, St. Paul’s Catholic Church and Marian Guild. She volunteered with the Southwest Christian Ministries.
She is survived by her children, Michael McNeil (Elisa), Barbara Pierce, Patrick McNeil (Cheryl), Tony McNeil (Donna), Kathleen Mahoney (Sam) and Mary McNeil; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. McNeil’s service is Saturday at 11am at St. Paul Catholic Church, 7500 Dixie Highway, with cremation to follow. Visiting will be on Friday from 2pm until 8 pm at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway. Her interment will be at a later date at St. Andrews Cemetery.
