Mr. Scott K Young

February 2, 1962 – March 28, 2025

Born on February 2, 1962, Scott spent 63 years making the world a little brighter, both literally and figuratively.

A self-employed electrician by trade and a music lover at heart, Scott was never one to turn down a good concert, a great festival, or a chance to spend time with family and friends. He was always the guy who showed up when you needed a hand and he never let anyone leave without a smile.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Ernest and Martha Young, and his brothers Danny, Jerry, and Rodney. Scott is survived by his brothers Wayne, Larry, and Rick, and his daughter Tiffany Tudor with son in law Mark Tudor. He leaves behind a large and loving family, including his stepchildren Matthew, Marlana, David and Sonja, and his treasured grandchildren Gavin, Keenan, Alana, Annabelle, Aubrey, Ryan, Lydia, Lincoln, and Charlotte. His cousin Greg Polley, nephew Derek Young and many other beloved  family members who will no doubt carry on his legacy of kindness and generosity. His laughter, his giving spirit, and his love for a good time will be missed—but knowing Scott, he’s probably already front row at the best concert the afterlife has to offer.

Visitation is Thursday April 3, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in his honor at 12:30 pm on Friday April 4, 2025 at Resthaven 4400 Bardstown Road, followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Garden 4400 Dixie Louisville, KY at 2:00 pm
