Rogers, Sharon L., 49, entered into eternal rest on September 10, 2015. Sharon was a free spirit who made it well pass the two years life expectancy she was given. She overcame many challenges in her life and ultimately enjoyed swimming and bowling. She loved going to church and listening to gospel music.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. Mitchell and Gertie Rogers.
Left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Butch (Leatha), Jerry “Buck” (Darlene), and Joe (Linda); 7 nieces and nephews; 9 great nieces and nephews; and caregivers for 15 years, Jeannie and Ashley Tussey.
A Celebration of Life for Sharon will be Monday at noon at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00pm-8:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will be private at Evergreen Cemetery.
