Shawn you are really missed hope you are up there in heaven playing with your baby girl Angel.  Wish you were still my ups driver the one I have now is very rude and not nice . Until I see you again tell Angel hello for mama 

I hate that this is the only way to reach out to the family or friends. My husband is a ups driver and had sent me photos of a car which he believes was shawns. It’s still in the parking lot of ups and I’m unsure how to reach anyone. Here are the photos. 

I knew Shawn from Slugger Museum and he was so funny and nice.  He also delivered at the tax service I worked and he always wanted to see George the owners poodle.  A special angel is now watching over his family who he loved.  Peace and prayers for his wife and children.

I didn’t know Shawn, but heard many stories from his sister Tish. I want the family to know you are all in my prayers. I am Lifting you all up, praying God give you the strength you need. I can see by reading the memories, Shawn was loved by so many. May God bless him & keep him. And may God be with his family.

Almost 27 years at Ups and I remember so many things we talked about ..He was always Helpful ..had a great smile was all about his Family for sure ...Shawn you be missed ...Prayers for your Family 

I had the pleasure of working with Shawn for 5 yrs at LCH.  He was always smiling, friendly (even when he was upset with me for calling him in the middle of the night).  He was such a hard-working young man doing  preload then running his route.  Would do anything you asked of him.  Sweet soul, you will be missed by so many including your "Brown Family".  Rest easy and keep e'rbody  up there straight! 💔😭

I have known Shawn for years he has been my UPS driver and was the best friend to my last Golden retriever Angel. He had not gotten to get to know my other two girls like he did Angel. But my other golden I have now loved him and would always give him kisses. But Petunia my black one whom is a lil different was starting to warm up to him. Now he is in Heaven playing with his best friend Angel. She would get up on the truck with him he will surely be missed. I was in shock today when I was told of the news by Matt one of the drivers from UPS. I just talked to him last week when I got my delivery. RIP Shaun I love 💕 you thank you for our great friendship. Shawn was our UPS driver.  He always kept us updated on what was going on in our area.  My condolences to the family.

I'm going to miss the conversations we would have the most. Challenging each other's intellect and laughing all the time. There's never going to be anybody quite like you my friend you will be missed by many and especially by me. Rest Easy little brother.

Shawn was my UPS guy, and one of the few people I had contact with during the lockdown.  He was nice, funny, and extremely helpful with the many packages I was receiving.  He was so sweet to my dogs, and they looked forward to seeing him.
It's so sad that such a young and genuinely nice person has left this earth too soon.
My condolences to the entire family.  May you find comfort and peace in your memories.  Shawn may not be here in person, but he will always live in your hearts. 💙

Shawn was Shawn.  Never was one before and never will be another.   27 years I’ve known this man and heard all the stories.  I never saw him short for words.  He was like that crazy cousin you only saw on the holidays and wanted to catch up to all his opinions.  He sure was giving it to you whether you wanted it or not. 

It occurred to me as soon as I heard of his passing that I would miss all those things I took for granted all those years hearing.  Rest easy old friend!  You will be forever missed and forever loved by all of us.  

He’s pretty much the best that’s ever been!
I’ll say it for him when  the time comes and demand a moment to remember the big man.



Shawn deliver  packages  to DQ  and also  to my home .I will miss his friendly face with that smile  he always  had.   It was  contagious   if  I was having a rough  day at work he  made it just  a little   brighter  with his  smile.

I went to high school with Shawn and he was always so happy and fun to be around. He was also the kindest and sweetest person with a heart of gold. I’m so sorry to hear of his passing I’m praying for all of his family and friends. 

I have known him for many years as he delivered many packages to our house . He would take packages to my side porch if I wasn’t home . Very friendly and respectful . Very sad to hear of his passing . Sending his loved ones many prayers for comfort and guidance . 

I didn’t know much about Shawn outside of work, but I will miss his smile. Shawn was always good for a morning hug and a hi gurl! He will be missed. Shawn’s family will be in my prayers. 💜

We grew up together.  Played together as kids. Seems like a life time. Loved when he delivered our packages.  He was a sweet and funny person.  You will be missed.

Bratcher was an amazing man. I always looked forward to seeing his smiling face when he came into work. He was always there to help me out in any way thay he could. He will truly be missed.

You and Love threw the best dinner parties! You were so funny. Love, I hope you find peace. He loved you so much and let everyone know it!!

Shawn is preceded in death by his father, Jesse Bratcher.


Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Love Bratcher; his son, Xavier Bratcher; his daughter, Victoria Shaw; granddaughter, Milani; his mother, Betty (Goodman) Bratcher; brother, Danny (Sandy) Beesley; his sister, Patricia “Tish” (Patrick) Hughes, numerous nephews, great nephews and 2 great nieces.


Shawn also leaves behind a host of relatives and lots of loving friends who mourn his passing.
