Sheila Kay Bowman

Sheila was born on March 21, 1944 in Louisville, Kentucky to parents, James Brooks & Mae Francis (Still) Carwile. She was retired from Churchill Downs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James Brooks & Mae Francis (Still) Carwile; son, Mark E. Stump and daughter, Sharon Bowman.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Don Bowman; children, Larry Stump, Bob (Julie) Stump, Rhonda Chase, Terri Stump, Hellen Fisher, Mary Spencer, Brad Bowman & Jeff Watts - Roy; siblings, Francis Carwile, Linda Coleman, Jim Carwile, David Carwile, Bob Carwile and Doug Carwile; 15 – grandchildren, 17 – great – grandchildren and 1 great – great – grandchild, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. in the Dignity Chapel of the Evergreen Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery & Garden Mausoleums.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. also at the Evergreen Funeral Home.
