Sue Ellen was born in Louisville to the late John and Frances Lindley. She graduated from Doss High School and attended the University of Louisville, where she was a Zeta Tau Alpha. Sue Ellen was an attendee of Iroquois Presbyterian Church, was a member of The Fillies Inc. and the Junior League of Louisville. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother that loved raising roses; she even won quite a few State Fair competitions.
Her beautiful memory will be carried on through her husband of 40 years, Michael; daughter, Jennifer Simpson Barker (Chris) and her grandsons, Lincoln, Jansen and Kaden.
Visitation will take place from 4-8pm Wednesday, May 30th and 11-12pm Thursday, May 31st followed by her service at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A private burial will take place at Resthaven Memorial Park.
