Thelma was a woman full of life, love, and laughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Newton; her devoted husband, Robert Hardin; her grandchild, Gram Ray; and eleven brothers and sisters whom she loved dearly.
Carrying on her beautiful legacy are her children, Norman “Butch” Pomerleau (Debbie), Ray Pomerleau (Gale), Sandy Pomerleau, David Pomerleau (Elaine), and Shane Pomerleau (Lori); her step-son, Bob Hardin (Vicki); her loving companion, Joe Lucas; and her sister, Ann Hardin. Thelma was also a proud grandmother to ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy. She will also be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Thelma worked hard all her life and retired from GE after 37 years of service, where she built lasting friendships and made a name for herself through her dedication and strong work ethic. She was also Avon's top seller—proof of her drive, charm, and ability to connect with everyone she met.
Outside of work, Thelma was an avid golfer who loved spending her winters in Florida, where she found warmth not only in the sunshine but in the friendships she built there. Her infectious smile, caring heart, and fun-loving spirit made her the life of every gathering.
