Milton C.H. Scheer and Margaret Louise Davis Scheer.
She was a retired secretary and a longtime member of First Lutheran Church. Besides her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Joseph Michael West (Joe), her brother Eugene Scheer and her sister Carolyn Gibson.
The family would like to thank Dr. Jane Cornett and the staff at the Episcopal Church Home for the professional and loving care that was given to Thelma.
She is survived by her children; Mike West (Diane) and Cathy Spaulding (Deral). Her 3 grandchildren Saundra Mattingly (Houston), Rebecca Spaulding, Matthew West, 7 great-grandchildren, her 5 great-great-grandchildren, her sister Norma Kuerzi (Jack), and her brother Donald Scheer, and extended family.
Services to celebrate the life of Thelma will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 8, 2017 at First Lutheran Church, 417 East Broadway. Visitation will be held Friday, April 7, 1-8 pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Westport Village, 7410 Westport Road.
