Theresa J. Nevitt

Theresa Jean Nevitt, 85, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away February 21, 2025. She was born on September 14, 1939, to the late Joseph and Mary Drury. Theresa was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church. She was a former Girl Scout Leader. Theresa loved her family, reading, going to the lake house at Barren River, trips to the Grand Ole Opry, and country music.

In addition to her parents, Theresa is preceded in death by her husband; Norman Nevitt, Sr., son; Norman Nevitt, Jr., grandchildren; Angelina Nevitt and Lanie Nevitt, and brothers; James Drury, Robert Drury, Joseph Drury, Jerry Drury, and Mike Drury.

Left to cherish Theresa’s memory are her children; Brenda Nevitt, Steven Nevitt, Sr., and Beverly Nevitt, grandchildren; Jessica, Stephanie, Stacey, and Steven Jr., 3 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, siblings; Mary Stewart, Ronald Drury, and Debbie Drury, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and loving friends.

A visitation for Theresa will be held Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Evergreen Funeral Home 12:00pm-6:00pm. Visitation will resume Monday, March 3, 2025, from 9:30am-12:00pm with a funeral to follow at 12:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Theresa will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
