Tom was born January 31st in Franklin TN where he lived until moving to Louisville in 2007 to work for UPS where he developed many wonderful friendships.. Tom and his wife Traci loved to golf. They always had a lighthearted bet going during their game play. Rumor has it Tom lost many dollars to his wife while on the greens. Tom and Traci loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. There was never a shortage of laughter when Tom was present.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Dovie Still, his parents, Malcome Garner and Anita Haynes (Dave) and his mother in law Ada Durst (Jim).
Tom is survived by his wife, Traci Garner, daughters, Brooke Shreves (Todd) and Samantha Flowers (Robert), grandchildren, Nolin Shreves, Kylie Shreves and Nevaeh Riddell, a sister, Donna Hickman (Jeff) and a nephew Jake Cravens (Caitlin).
Tom is also survived by his cranky but loving cat, Willis.
A celebration of Tom's life will be held from 12-4 on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218.
